Colleges Offer Textbook RentalsI have long advocated for lower textbook costs and textbook rentals as one of many good ideas to reduce costs. I have also promoted other ideas with instructors and students like using digital textbooks, promoting library textbook reserves by requesting that publishers provide complimentary copies, and creating a Virtual Trading Store, a Website for students to trade textbooks after each term.
These are just some of the common sense ways that we create an affordable education for students and provide an accountable solution to taxpayers.
